My book "The Collegians" tells the story of how life was in the fifties and sixties in Asmara, Ethiopia (now Eritrea)…. Not life as it was for everyone, but only for those whose destiny was to live away from their families and be part of an enclosed world called: Collegiate…

The story speaks mainly of a young girl and some of her friends... At first very evocative, the story in due course flows sensitively and yet vividly into different circumstances that make it unique and very interesting….

A friend, Carlo Cattini, has suggested that I change the Title of my manuscript in the works,

"Half-Caste"

"When u're a CAPPUCCINO"

Undoubtedly it makes more sense, especially when one stops to consider that we were and still are labeled as such by many, including but not limited to the name of:

"Caffe' Latte".

Hence dear friend, to your credit, the Title of the book is officially changed to:

"When they call you CAPPUCCINO".

Thanks for the suggestion Carlo. My husband and my publisher both, like it.
