Species: ARACHNIDIES From Massimo's Collection: Black Widow...ALBINO *********************************** I like the study of animals - ALL animals - and this is a spider I found in our backyard, where , to my grandmother dismay, many Black Widows dwell freely......   Arachnidies: by Massimo Genovese   My name is Massimo, I am twelve years old and I am the grandson of Rick and Ninni Lemus. Two and a half years ago I became fascinated by spiders and so I started collecting them. I keep them in glass containers filled with alcohol and I hope they will last for a long time. I have collected many!! Mainly Black Widows, but also other species. Some are Big and some are small, but this one is very strange. I took this picture in the back of my grandparents' house. My little brother Ricardo shares my enthusiasm for insects and reptiles, but my grandmother hates them with a passion. In this photo you can see one of the strangest spiders I ever saw. It resembles a Black Widow but is not Black. It has the Hourglass form on the belly but is not Red; it's dark brown/almost orange. The shape, the form is very similar to a Black Widow, and after doing a lot of research, I haven't been able to find an answer to its identity. ???????? Is there anyone out there who can help me?
